Freedom of the Lake
Our best value cruise ticket is valid on all scheduled sailings (includes blue, red, yellow and green cruises *) for a period of 24 hours. * Green cruise does not operate during winter season.

Red Cruise
The round trip departing from Bowness can be taken as a 70/75 minute cruise stopping at Ambleside Pier*. Alternatively you may start from Ambleside returning on any later boat from Bowness.

Yellow Cruise
The round trip from Bowness can be taken as a 90 minute cruise stopping at Lakeside. Alternatively you may start from Lakeside and return from Bowness on any later boat.

Islands Cruise
A 45 minute* circular cruise from Bowness, enjoy contrasting scenery of mountains, wooded shorelines and lovely tranquil bays. * 40 minute duration during the winter season.

Green Cruise
Board one of our traditional launches from Ambleside pier (Waterhead) for a beautiful cruise around the northern end of Windermere (40 min circular stopping at Brockhole Visitor Centre).

Start your journey from Ambleside or Bowness Pier taking in three boat journeys and a tranquil stroll along the lake shore path between Wray Castle and Ferry House.

Join the boat at Bowness and sail south to Lakeside. On arrival at Lakeside your bus will be waiting to transfer you to the Motor Museum (Bus transfer 5 mins approx). Alternatively your journey may start and finish at Lakeside or the Museum.
