  • Steam locomotives pull traditional 1950’s carriages through stunning Lakeland scenery
  • All groups are allocated reserved seats on the train
  • 20 minute single train journey (Lakeside to Haverthwaite or Haverthwaite to Lakeside)
  • Cafe and toilets at Haverthwaite Station
  • Explore the engine sheds and woodland trail at Haverthwaite Station
  • Children's play area
  • Lakeside Station is a 1 minute walk from Lakeside pier
  • Trains wait for connecting boats and boats wait for connecting trains
  • Free coach parking at Haverthwaite

Suggested Itinerary

This package for groups can be done in any order, but for ease, we'd recommend:

  1. Coach drop-off at Haverthwaite where there is free parking
  2. Take the train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside
  3. Get on the vessel at Lakeside to Bowness
  4. Coach pick-up from Bowness coach park
