My wife and I went on an evening cruise on Lake Windermere, last night. We had a wonderful time; the views were spectacular and the Swift was an excellent boat to sail on. The commentary was very interesting, telling us about the different places we were sailing past. The staff were all excellent, from the staff on the pier, to the staff on board, nothing was too much trouble. The price for the 75 minute trip was very good value too. If, you’re up in the Lake District over the coming week, I would definitely recommend you take the opportunity to go on the evening cruise, I’m sure you will enjoy it. ~ PMike. TripAdvisor.

My husband and myself took a last minute decision to obtain tickets for the Evening Cruise as it was a beautiful summer evening and we had the opportunity to enjoy it on the lake, so why not? The crew who checked our tickets and welcomed us were attentive and friendly as was every crew member we encountered whilst on board. The boat was clean and well maintained, it moved quietly and smoothly across the water, the commentary was helpful (not intrusive at all), we enjoyed a glass of wine and a thoroughly lovely evening admiring the stunning beauty of Windermere. Would we do it again? Definitely! Would we recommend it? Totally! ~ Judahlion61. TripAdvisor.
