Located between Windermere and Ambleside, Brockhole offers family fun, beautiful gardens and stunning lake views. Easily reached via our Red or Green Cruise in summer months.

What you can enjoy

  • Free adventure playground
    A large play space for toddlers to teens, featuring the Play Galleon, nine unique towers and the impressive multi‑level Mountain Tower. (No dogs allowed in the playground.)

  • Zip World – Treetop Trek
    Swing, climb and balance through the 250‑year‑old oak trees on a choice of treetop courses. Enjoy aerial obstacles, rope bridges and a thrilling 250‑metre triple zip to finish. Options range from shorter routes for ages 5+ to a full 2‑hour trek for ages 7+. No experience needed—just enthusiasm.

  • Picnic areas & covered seating
    Plenty of sheltered benches and picnic spots for year‑round use.

  • Gardens and grounds
    Stroll through the historic Arts & Crafts gardens with terraces, lawns and beautiful lakeside scenery.
