This weekend there are many large events taking place, such as The Great North Swim, Appleby Horse fair and Dave Day. These events are expected to attract over 50,000 visitors to the area! This is likely to cause increased traffic throughout the day and car parking may be limited near our piers and hire points.

To make your day out on Lake Windermere as stress-free as possible, we highly recommend allowing plenty of extra travel time for potential delays due to these events. Additionally, planning your parking in advance will minimise stress upon arrival.

We hope you have a great weekend on Windermere!
