We’re pleased to share details of the Windermere Science Festival 2026, taking place at Windermere Jetty Museum, which is easily accessible by boat across the lake.
This action‑packed weekend features hands‑on STEM activities, fascinating talks and interactive workshops for all ages, set across the museum’s spectacular lakeside site.

On Sunday 10 May, attendees can take part in the festival’s much‑loved Big Float, where participants build and test a full‑sized cardboard boat on the lake (weather dependent).

🎟 Festival entry is included with Windermere Jetty Museum admission and tickets include 12 months’ museum access.
Lakeland Arts Members and Annual Pass holders go free.
