As our busiest pier, Bowness offers the widest variety of cruises on the lake.

Located at postcode LA23 3HQ, it's a 2-minute walk from Bowness village and the closest pier to Windermere Village (10 minutes by bus/car or a 25-minute walk).

While we don't have our own parking, there are over 400 pay-and-display spaces within walking distance. You'll also find easy access to bus connections and national rail services via Windermere Railway Station.

Located at the northern tip of Windermere, Ambleside (Waterhead) Pier offers some of the most stunning views of the Lake District fells.

The pier's postcode is LA22 0EY. It's an easy, flat walk just a half-mile from Ambleside village center, with regular buses also available.

While the pier has a small car park, there are over 200 public pay-and-display spaces within a five-minute walk. You'll also find easy access to local bus connections.

Located at the southernmost tip of Windermere, Lakeside is our quietest pier, and home to some of the area's family-friendly attractions.

The pier's postcode is LA12 8AS and has over 300 on-site pay and display car parking spaces at a reasonable price.

It provides direct access to the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway (seasonal), but bus services are limited with the nearest bus stop being at Newby Bridge (1.5 miles away via footpath).

Brockhole is more than just a pier; it's the official Lake District Visitor Centre, making it a perfect destination for a full day of family fun.

The pier's closest postcode is LA23 1LJ but is only accessible by gravel footpath at the bottom of Brockhole's gardens.

The on-site car park can get busy, but it has great bus connections with a bus top outside on the busy A591 - about a 10-minute walk from our pier on the lakeshore.

Our pier at Windermere Jetty Museum is attached to the award-winning museum dedicated to the boats and rich history of the lake.

The pier is located at postcode LA23 1BN, on the eastern shore of Windermere. As well as boat access, the museum can be reached on foot from Bowness Pier and it takes about 20-minutes.

The museum has limited on-site pay-and-display parking, but bus routes from the village are 10-minutes walk away and Windermere Railway Station is about a 25-minute walk away.

This quiet pier on Windermere’s western shore is your stop for exploring Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter, and the historic Claife Viewing Station. It's the ideal spot for a peaceful walk or a start to a historical tour.

Located at postcode LA22 0LP, Ash Landing is a stop on the Cross Lakes Shuttle from Bowness Pier, which provides easy access for pedestrians. A small pay-and-display car park nearby is limited, so it's best accessed via the ferry.

Originally the jetty for the neo-gothic castle (currently closed due for refurbishment), our pier can only be accessed by foot from the grounds, castle and nearby Low Wray campsite.  It's an ideal starting point to visit the grounds, cafe or embark on our Walkers Ticket (seasonal).

The pier's closest postcode is LA22 0JA and the gravel path from the castle and car park will take 10 minutes to walk.

A small jetty attached to National Trust Fell Foot Park at the southernmost tip of Windermere. A perfect stop for lakeshore walks, picnics, and watersports.

The closest postcode to the jetty is LA12 8NN, but its only accessible by foot. A medium-sized National Trust car park is about 5-minutes' walk away from the jetty.
