Experience one of the Lake District’s most traditional and much-loved agricultural shows, set in the beautiful Vale of Esthwaite. Hawkshead Show celebrates rural life, local heritage and community spirit, offering a fantastic day out for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a full programme of attractions throughout the day, including livestock judging, horse classes from miniatures to heavy horses, show jumping, and traditional sheep and cattle displays. The horticultural and craft sections are a highlight, showcasing home produce, flowers, vegetables, and local arts and crafts.
With vintage vehicles, trade stands and plenty to explore across the show field, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Set against a backdrop made famous by Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, it’s a truly authentic Lake District experience.
