Windermere Lake Cruises operates a fleet of 17 vessels that sail throughout the year. The boats are used for regular scheduled cruises on a number of different routes (or cruises), private charters and special events.

We also have a fleet of smaller electric boats & rowing boats that are used for self-drive hire.

Our steamers offer indoor and outdoor seating, onboard toilets, and a licensed bar serving a selection of drinks and light refreshments.

Our traditional wooden launches have been sailing on Windermere for over sixty years and operate on our quieter cruises. Their small size and unique charm makes them popular with small private bookings such as weddings.

Modern Launches

Miss Lakeland II - can hold 156 passengers.
Miss Cumbria I, II, III & IV - can hold 128 passengers.
Silverholme - can hold 84 passengers.
Westmorland - can hold 128 passengers.

Each vessel offers comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, tables in the main cabin, a small tea bar, and onboard toilets. Unfortunately, these vessels are not wheelchair accessible.

Their small size and unique charm makes them popular with small private bookings such as weddings.
