The cruises start and end in Bowness aboard the historic ‘steamers’ MV Teal or MV Swan which offer both indoor and outdoor areas so on warm summer evenings, there are opportunities to take in the fresh Cumbrian air while enjoying the sunset.

Appetising treats also await thanks to a freshly made cold buffet by Cumbrian catering company, Café Ambio. The menu includes Cajun spiced chicken fillet, homemade huntsman pie, Cumbrian cheese and onion flan and a wide range of salads with lemon tart and berry compote or salted caramel and ricotta cheesecake to follow. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for.

The relaxing evenings are further enhanced as resident Cumbrian musician, Fiona, performs a set of popular songs while her audience watch the stunning backdrop of the Lakeland fells float by or take to the dance floor.
