SAT 7 & SUN 8 JUNE - Diessen Bläsergruppe and Alp Horns

A unique opportunity to hear traditional German music and Alphorns resounding along and around the lake!

Windermere Town Twining Association are delighted to support the visit from our twinned town on Diessen am Amersee in Germany with Diessen.

To celebrate our union, the twin town's Diessen Bläsergruppe and Alp Horns will be playing on The Glebe Bandstand (5 minutes' walk from Bowness Pier) between 10am and 12:30pm on Sunday 8 June.

If you can't get to see the group perform near Bowness Pier, they are also performing at other locations nearby on other dates:

• Windermere Jetty Museum - Saturday 7 June (12 noon-1pm)
• Allen Bank Grasmere - Sunday 8 June (2:30pm)
• Lamplighter Dining Room, High Street, Windermere- Monday 9 June (1:30pm)
• Our Lady of Windermere and St Herbert Catholic Church, Windermere - Tuesday 10 June (9:15am)
