We have designed our school packages with teachers and tutors in mind. We have tried to take into account the needs of the National Curriculum and link its requirements to the trips and packages that are available for schools and children’s groups alike.

Pre-visits are available at all the attraction packages listed. This enables, you, the tour guide to make a judgement on the suitability of the chosen package

If you are sailing with us we offer free coach parking at Bowness, and the school groups receive a voucher entitling them to 10% discount in the Boatman's Cafe & Gift Shop.
We also have free coach parking at Lakeside and pic k up/drop off point at Ambleside.
We welcome groups of all sizes, from school trips to social clubs.
Not only do we have special group rates throughout the peak times of the day, if you sail before 10.30am and after 4pm we offer a total of 20% discount per person (Pre booked only). In addition to that tour guides and coach drivers travel for free.

Our larger 'steamers', MV Swift and our modern launches are ideal for most groups and offer the best views across Windermere. We can advise which departures would work well to fit in with your itinerary.

Visiting us is easy by coach
We've been welcoming coaches to our coach parks for over 70 years.
All coach drivers with cruise passengers are welcome to use our award-winning* Bowness coach park free of charge and will receive a warm welcome from our dedicated coach park staff.
To make sure we have space for you, we ask that all coaches are pre-booked
